Happy New Year everyone! Not a whole lot to report. We love Maui still and have gone on little excursions here and there. We went up to the top of Haleakala a couple weekends ago. It's amazing up there and the drive up is so beautiful. We weren't really planning on going up there; we just jumped in the car and decided after we started driving to go up there. Its 10,000+ feet and we were in t-shirts and shorts. So, we were freezing cold... a sensation we'd not felt in a while. It was a lot of fun though.

We also drove up to Lahaina a few weeks back and walked around. Lahaina is a really cool town. Julie and I went back this week for our 12th Anniversary. It's still weird living here. Stuff like going to Lahaina for our Anniversary... I guess a lot of people do that but they are coming from Sheboygan or Tulsa or something. We just got a babysitter, jumped in our car and drove for 20 minutes. And we were home in time for dinner with the boys. Pretty cool...

The boys are on break until the 14th so Julie has been taking them to the beach during the days and to play with friends. They aren't speaking pidgin just yet but the other day Sutton said, "It's time for dinner, yeah?" Coley figured something out about that too. He told me that he knows why they say "yeah?" at the end of sentences. "It's the same thing as saying, 'right?'... Right?" He's got it.

Anyway, that's the latest. I have a few more pictures to upload. I'll do that soon.

Hi,
Happy New Year guys!
I lived in the Islands (Oahu) for 5 1/2 years, and spoke pidgin off and on for fun. Most of my friends did, so it rubs off. My Dad hated it. Things like: You go down town? and phrases like that.
Lahaina is such a cool little town, love it there.
Miss you guys a lot and think about you and are happy for you basking in the sunshine and laying on the beach.
Love you,
Annette and Paul
