We've moved!  YAY!  I HATE moving though and I wish I could say that this would be the last time we ever move ever but it's probably not.  We only moved about half a mile from our old place so it wasn't that bad I guess.  Anyway, we moved into a really cool plantation style home a block from the beach.  It's got a huge yard with banana trees, coconut palms, star fruit trees, etc.  Very tropical.  I'll post some pictures of it at some point or maybe even a video tour.  Maybe.  Right now it's a mess as you can imagine so both will have to wait a bit until we get a little more settled.

So tonight at dinner we were talking politics.  Cole (7 years old) and Sutton (5 years old) got to vote in their classes at school.  I was trying to figure out a way to explain some of the issues to them at their level and was having a hard time.  Something funny came from the conversation though. 

Me - Do you guys know what taxes are?

Sutton - I KNOW!!  Taxes are things that take you places when you don't have a car.

For Sutton's Birthday he recieved some money from Great-grandparents and grandparents. We go on separate "dates" with the boys as often as we can. We told them we would be doing that this weekend. Sutton was going to go spend his money with me on Saturday at Wal-Mart. He came in this morning (Sat.) at 7 am with his wallet in hand and holding it up so I could see it, said, "Can we go now?"

Sutton does it again...

Last night he asked to fall asleep in our bedroom. I came in to check on him and he said, "Can I sleep with you?" I looked at the bed and he had put each of our pillows on either side of his and he was right in the middle. I smiled and he then said, "I won't talk!" I just giggled. How cute is that! He's precious...

Wow.  I'm bad at this.  Let's see... what's happened?

• We went to Hana for the Mothers day weekend.  I've posted pictures from that on flickr.com.  View them by clicking here.  A highlight of this trip was Julie jumping off a cliff into water on Mothers day.  Not only is she a hot momma but she is also daring!
• Cole and Sutton are almost done with school.  Cole is finishing 1st grade.  His last day is next Thursday.  Sutton's last day of preschool was today.  The preschool had a graduation ceremony last week and I'll post some pictures and video from that soon.  Also, Cole had a big end of the year Ho'olaulea (which translates to "Celebration").  I'll post pictures and video from that too.
• The end of March my Dad and Mom came to visit us during the boys spring break.  That was so much fun!  The boys want them to come back soon.  They miss wrestling with Papa and talking story with Grandma.
• Julie recorded vocal tracks in April at a studio here on Maui.  They are getting mixed and should be complete soon!
• Also in April, Greg, Lisa, Sara and Tucker came to Maui and we got to spend some great time with them!  It's nice to live in a place where people like to come visit.

There is a lot more to report probably but... those are the big ones.
